Frequently Asked Questions

Search our extensive knowledge base to learn how to register 2 park, manage permits, and troubleshoot towing enforcement issues.

What is Register2Park / R2Park?

Register2Park (often referred to as R2Park) is a digital, cloud-based parking registration platform used by property managers, residential associations, and enforcement companies to monitor parking compliance. The platform allows guests to register visitor parking, and whitelists resident plates to prevent unauthorized vehicle occupancy.

How do I register a vehicle on the system?

To register, visit our homepage or property specific portal and complete the registration wizard:

  1. Search for your property name (e.g., Veridian Apartments).
  2. Select if you are registering for visitor parking or a resident permit.
  3. Input your vehicle details (Make, Model, Color, and License Plate).
  4. Submit. You will receive a digital permit with a countdown timer.
Why was my parking registration request denied?

A denied parking message occurs if your vehicle violates the property's automated parking rules. The most common reasons are:

  • Guest Cap Reached: You have registered visitor parking too many times this month (e.g. limit is 5 times per month).
  • Expired Duration: Trying to register beyond consecutive-day limits.
  • Plate Blacklist: Your vehicle has pending fines or past parking offenses on the property.

If denied, you must park off-site to avoid immediate towing. Contact the community leasing office to request a permit exception.

Where do I find my property's towing company and phone number?

You can search for your community rules and towing hotline by visiting our Towing Help Center. Additionally, properties are required by local regulations to post physical parking enforcement signs at the entrances showing the designated towing company name and towing hotline number.

What is the difference between R2 Parking and Resident Whitelisting?

Resident Whitelisting: Resident plates are registered on the system for long-term authorization. Residents must park in marked resident areas.

Visitor Parking (or R2 Parking): Guest vehicles are only whitelisted for short-term periods (typically 24 to 48 hours). Guests must register immediately upon arrival and park in designated visitor spaces marked with "V" or "Visitor".

Is registration required for motorcycles?

Yes. Any motorized vehicle (cars, trucks, motorcycles, mopeds) parked on the property must have a valid whitelisted registration, or they will be flagged for enforcement.

Terms of Service Overview

By registering on the platform, you agree that registration does not guarantee a physical parking spot. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of license plate entries. Any typos or incorrect letters/numbers entered will lead to an unregistered status and vehicle removal by local towing contractors.
